Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this site, regardless of ability or the technology they rely on. Here's how we're working toward that.
Last updated
Fritter Factory is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible. Accessibility isn’t a checkbox for us — it’s part of building things well.
The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA — the widely recognized benchmark for accessible websites. These guidelines help make content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for everyone.
What we’ve built in
- A “skip to content” link so keyboard users can bypass navigation.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a focus trap and an escape key in our menu and dialog.
- Clear, visible focus states so you always know where you are.
- Descriptive labels for interactive controls, and decorative graphics hidden from screen readers.
- Touch targets sized for comfortable tapping on mobile.
- Color choices and contrast intended to keep text readable.
- A responsive layout that adapts to your screen and zoom level.
- Semantic, structured markup so assistive technology can interpret the page.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is never “done.” We test as we build and improve the site over time. Some areas may not yet be perfect, and content from third-party tools is partly outside our direct control. If something gets in your way, we want to fix it.
Tell us if something isn’t working
If you run into a barrier on this site, or need information in a different format, email us at hello@fritterfactory.com. Please tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you were using. We’ll get back to you and do our best to help.
